If you’re wondering why Fivio Foreign has been quiet, it is because he’s been in jail since January.
In a police theory obtained by TMZ, the rapper is accused of pointing his gun at a woman who asked for help jumpstarting her car on New Year’s Eve. He is being held in jail in New Jersey, where the incident took place.
During the confrontation, Fivio allegedly told the woman, “If I see you parked in front of this building again there is going to be a f****** problem.” Witnesses reportedly called 911, and local police say the apartment’s surveillance cameras corroborate their statements.
He was eventually arrested on Jan. 18 and was hit with charges including unlawful possession of a weapon, terroristic threats, and aggravated assault.
According to TMZ, who spoke to Fivio’s legal representative Adam Lustberg, he is expected to be released in the next few months.
Lustberg also claims police never recovered a weapon from Fivio, and has faith that the case will be open and shut.
Just days before his arrest, Fivio was involved in one of the stranger rap beefs at the top of the year when, along with Lil Tjay, the two were kicked off of Plaqueboymax’s Twitch stream for smoking.
The incident struck a nerve in Fivio, who then went on to release a diss track against Max, who advised against smoking inside the home they were recording in. “Meet a streamer and make him hot as me / That’s why I gotta leaveI smoked a blunt and went viral for the week,” he raps on “Plauqueboxmax,” referencing the incident.
