Here’s What an Editor Buys During the Sephora Savings Event

As a beauty editor, the semiannual Sephora Savings Event isn’t just any old sale—it’s an event that’s important enough to be marked down in my calendar alongside my appointments and professional deadlines. While I’ll gladly pay full price for my favorite products (and often do both IRL and online), the sale gives me a little more financial freedom to add one or two (or five) extra products to my cart.

Here’s the thing, though: The sale is only on for a few more days, and many people are cutting it down to the wire, which is why I created an editor-approved short list of the products I think are *actually* worth buying. It’s the same short list I sent to three people who texted me in full panic, asking what they should buy before the sale ends.
