Gypsy-Rose Blanchard feels guilty for how her marriage with ex Ryan Anderson ended.
On the Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up Season 2 premiere, Blanchard shared that she’s been overly apologetic to Anderson after she filed for divorce last year. Shortly after, she reconciled with her current partner, Ken Urker.
“Every time that we have talked or texted since the divorce was filed, it’s me trying to apologize for breaking his heart,” she said, per People. “And as much as I’m trying to live my life and be happy, of course, from time to time, that guilt is going to weigh on my conscience.”
Urker added that he wished Blanchard would have “gotten through” the divorce before they found out she was pregnant, which they later announced in July 2024. “It’s not a good look for me. It’s not a good look for her. It’s not a good look,” he said.
Blanchard and Anderson’s divorce is being finalized soon, which the 33-year-old reality star hopes will bring closure to her ex.
“I think Ryan has a glimmer of hope that he feels like, okay, it’s not finalized yet, so maybe we might get back together or something,” she explained. “So I’m hoping that once the divorce is final, that is what needs to sink in.”
“And that’s what I have been trying to convey ever since I filed, I’m like ‘I care about you,’ ” she said. “’I wish you the best. I wish you would move on and find happiness. That’s what I want for you.’ He has not conveyed that to me.”
Blanchard and Anderson separated in March 2024. The next month, she reconnected with Urker and filed for divorce. When she discovered she was pregnant, she had to take a paternity test, which confirmed that Urker was the father. The couple welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Aurora, last December.
