On Thursday, the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences (IADAS) announced the nominations for the 2025 Webby Awards have been announced, with Complex receiving two nominations.
Complex has received two nominations for the 29th annual Webby Awards: Sneaker Shopping in the Social – Best Content Series category, and Slim Shady vs. Marshall Mathers: THE FACE-OFF | Complex Cover in the Social – Experimental, Innovation & Viral category.
This year’s Webby Awards nominees span a wide range of influential brands and internet personalities. Major companies like Apple, Netflix, NASA, Nike, and Amazon MGM Studios are recognized alongside cultural icons such as Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar, Selena Gomez, Jason and Travis Kelce, and Oprah, to name a few.
The Webby Awards have always been a barometer for digital progress, and this year’s Nominees reflect the deep connection between creativity and innovation. Public voting for the 2024 awards is now open. Winners for the 2025 awards will be announced on April 22 and recognized during a May 12 ceremony at NYC’s Cipriani Wall Street. The event will be hosted by Ilana Glazer.
